The Colorado Clean Energy Fund (CCEF) has introduced the Electrify and Save On-Bill Repayment Program, a transformative initiative designed to increase energy efficiency and electrification in rural areas. In partnership with Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association and its member cooperatives, the program offers no upfront costs, no credit checks, and low-interest rates, making sustainable home improvements accessible to more consumers. During a launch event at the Colorado State Capitol, Governor Jared Polis and other key stakeholders highlighted the program's benefits, which include greater energy savings and enhanced home values. The program uniquely ties financial obligations to the service location, not the individual, enhancing consumer flexibility. This initiative is part of a broader strategy, supported by a $75 million loan from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, to foster rural energy efficiency.
