Walmart has ended its partnership with Capital One, which issued Walmart's consumer credit cards. The retail giant sued Capital One over delays in payment processing and card replacements, winning the case in March. This marks the second time Walmart has switched credit card partners in recent years, previously moving from Synchrony Financial to Capital One in 2019. Walmart customers can still use their existing Capital One cards and earn rewards until further notice. Capital One will continue to manage the current credit card accounts, which hold approximately $8.5 billion in loans. The retail giant has yet to name a new banking partner.
