A group of seven men was apprehended after a brazen theft involving a truckload of vacuums at a California truck stop. The incident took place on November 5th in Barstow, where police received reports of men unloading items from a semi-truck and loading them into a van. Upon arrival, officers spotted the suspects, who attempted to flee in their vehicle. The driver, 62-year-old Victor Ramirez, led police on a chase but eventually stopped. The suspects abandoned the van and fled on foot, but law enforcement, aided by a K9 unit and aerial support, managed to locate all seven individuals. The stolen goods, which included 100 Shark vacuums valued at around $23,000, were successfully recovered and returned to the rightful owner. The suspects have been booked into the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Jail, and authorities are seeking any additional information related to the case.
