Swedish FinTech company Klarna has announced a new partnership with video communications platform Zoom, aimed at providing consumers with greater access to Zoom’s premium services through flexible payment options. The collaboration allows customers in 16 countries to manage their Zoom Workplace subscriptions using Klarna's buy now, pay later (BNPL) solutions. With Klarna's Pay Now option available globally and Pay Later options in the U.S., Sweden, and Germany, this partnership expands the reach of both companies. Klarna's chief commercial officer, David Sykes, emphasized the goal of making Klarna available at every checkout, enhancing user access to premium collaboration tools without upfront costs. As the global subscription market is projected to hit $1.5 trillion by 2025, Klarna’s flexible payment options are increasingly vital for businesses adopting subscription models.
