Expedia, in collaboration with Wells Fargo, has introduced two new travel credit cards: the One Key Card and the One Key+ Card. These cards aim to reward frequent travelers with significant perks, including welcome bonuses worth at least $400 in travel credits. The One Key loyalty program, launched in 2023, integrates customer activity across Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo, allowing members to earn travel credits, free upgrades, and automatic discounts. The One Key Card replaces the former Hotels.com credit card, which will no longer be available after September 2024. Both cards offer benefits such as earning 3% on Expedia travel, gas, dining, and groceries, with no foreign transaction fees. The One Key+ Card, which has a $99 annual fee, offers additional perks like a $100 annual credit and up to $100 for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck. The cards are compared against other travel credit cards, highlighting their strengths and potential drawbacks. For travelers who frequently book through Expedia or its associated brands, these new cards offer an appealing mix of benefits and savings.
