This initiative aims to keep residents connected as federal funding for the Affordable Connectivity Program ends in 2024. The program offers 50Mbps for $9.95 and 150Mbps for $19.95, with no contracts, credit checks, or installation fees. New customers also get three months free and one line of Astound Unlimited Mobile for 12 months. Astound collaborates with local governments and nonprofits to assist those in public assistance programs. The company is also engaged in community efforts, including partnerships with Habitat for Humanity and supporting local nonprofits.
