Florida Credit Union Faces Lawsuit for Discriminating Against DACA Recipients

A Latino civil rights organization, MALDEF, has filed a federal class-action lawsuit against Florida Credit Union (FCU) for allegedly discriminating against DACA recipients, specifically targeting David Alberto Fonseca, a 30-year-old DACA recipient from Tampa. The case highlights ongoing issues surrounding the treatment of immigrants in financial services and the need for equitable access.
